"...Your face Lord, I will seek"
(Psalm, 27,8)
“The Western public, both Christian and non-Christian, often finds through exposure to orthodox icons and practice that iconography is not a naive or popular art that is required in the church by ancient customs, but a revelation of eternal Truth and deep beauty”
E.Morisco

PHILOSOPHY
Iconography is the art of the arts and an icon is more than a work of art. And it is important and important that every
iconographer must respect the Tradition, the rules and its principles and its rules to write an icon.

COURSES / CLASS
Prayer and Color courses intend to introduce you to the Byzantine iconographic art.
Each participant will learn the ancient art of traditional icons with a practical and theoretical approach. Since the icon is the gospel in color, all those of every level of artistic competence are invited to take part.

MATERIALS
The choice of materials in the icon world is very significant.
The gold leaf, for example, represents the divine light, the wooden table represents the wood of the cross, the gesso represents "... the stone discarded by the builders".
